Fostering Growth for the People and the Planet
The Urban Farm is a 1/2-acre teaching farm located at Northside Harvest Park. It offers field trips, public classes, and volunteer opportunities. All produce harvested from the Farm is sold at Hub City Farmers Market or donated to local food pantries and soup kitchens.
Urban Teaching Farm
Field Trips are available every Wednesday, April to November for group visits to our Urban Farm. Visits are approximately one hour long, and can be arranged from 9:30am to 10:30am or 11:00am to 12:00pm. Groups will tour the farm and the greenhouse, then take part in a gardening or nutrition-based workshop.
Max capacity: 15-20 students
Cost of the Program: $75 donation suggested
