Urban Farm Manager

Ben joined the Hub City Roots Team in 2019. His love of the great outdoors makes him an amazing Urban Farm Manager, and so does his green thumb! With a Bachelors of Science in Recreation, he first spent time working with youth as Summer Camp Director. He is certified in first aid, mental health aid, CPR, beekeeping, and mountain biking instruction. Truly a jack of all trades, he’s also skilled in carpentry and craftsmanship. Nowadays, he most loves working with students of our partner schools and members of our youth crew. During our markets he looks forward to “Seeing the Youth gain skills, resilience, confidence, responsibility and knowledge.”
